CARMa-Afrika

CARMa-Afrika is a collaboration of highly qualified African conservation professionals, driven to develop the capacity of professionals and practitioners in Africa to conserve nature with communities. Focus areas include:

  • Developmental monitoring & evaluation. Our approach empowers African communities, officials and stakeholders to make better decisions and develop their own solutions
  • Participatory monitoring. We work with communities and other stakeholders to develop and implement innovative natural resource monitoring programmes
  • Management plans and strategies. We facilitate the development of joint management strategies and action plans
  • Capacity development and learning. Our projects centre on capacity development and training for African resource management
